All Out Arts/The Fresh Fruit Festival is proud to announce that submissions are now open for our 2015 10-Minute Play Competition!
We are looking for plays no longer than 10 minutes, that can be performed with minimal set and tech. The subject matter can be anything on queer themes.

PLEASE NOTE that, if accepted, it will be up to you to produce the piece for the competition. Production values are up to you. You can present your play as a staged reading or as a threadbare “finished” production.

Prizes: (some awarded by the Fresh Fruit judges, and some awarded by the audience!) include a $25 cash prize and one of six slots in the 13th Annual main-stage Fresh Fruit Festival, this July at The Wild Project. The competition will take place at 6pm, Tuesday, April 21st and Wednesday, April 22nd, at Nuyorican Poets Café. (Each play will perform on one of these nights, not both).

-Script in PDF form
-Résumé or short bio of playwright
-The statement “I am aware that, if accepted, it is my responsibility to produce my play for this competition. All Out Arts/Fresh Fruit will not staff my play or cover production costs. If selected as a winner I will re-stage the play in the July Fresh Fruit Festival.”
