“RAINBOW JOURNEY” - A Children's Fantasy in Six Colors - 2 Performances in June
Fresh Fruit Festival and The Royal Squirrel Puppet Theatre present "Rainbow Journey - A Children's Fantasy in Six Colors,” an imaginative, fun filled puppet show which explores and proudly celebrates family diversity in a delightful, original production which is a must see for the entire family. It will be performed live on stage
Synopsis: A straight white couple and a lesbian black couple together with their children are enjoying picnicking in the park after seeing a Gay Pride Day parade. Memories of the Pride's rainbow flag influence the children's thoughts as they wander through a waterfall into a land where each of the six fantastic realms is a different color. The children must make a journey through all six colors to get back home to their parents, and along the way they learn to work together with the many fantastic creatures they meet no matter what their shape, size or personality.
